f.a.q.

Can I bring a friend to my tattoo appointment?

Yes. You can bring someone else to your tattoo appointment without a problem. If you'd like to bring more than one person to the appointment, please let me know ahead of time.

Is it okay if I want to wear headphones while I get tattooed?

Of course! I don't mind at all, some of my clients prefer to have a quiet appointment and listen to their own music/media while they get tattooed. Whatever makes it enjoyable for you is OK with me.

What will the aftercare/healing be like after my tattoo appointment?

Aftercare is an important part of the healing process, but is fairly simple to follow. Do: moisturize with a light unscented cream, keep it clean with antibacterial fragrance-free soap. Don't: exercise heavily, go in baths or pools, get sun exposure.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the appointment?

There is nothing you are required to do before the appointment. Moisturizing the skin for a few days to week prior is optional, but never hurts! Hydrated, healthy skin is the easiest to tattoo (try to avoid coming in after heavy drinking). It's best to come in hydrated and to eat something before your session. Everything you might need will be supplied or available at the studio, so just come in excited for your new tattoo!

Will I be able to see my design before the appointment?

For custom tattoos, I prefer to show my clients the design the day of their appointment. I always book enough time during the session to make adjustments/modifications to the design until you're happy with it! For larger tattoos, sometimes I will send a sketch in advance to make sure we're on the same page. Should the adjustments in-session be unreasonable or take longer than 30 minutes, I may charge my hourly rate at an additional cost.
